Utilising 2 x AA batteries the light is highly efficient and economical to use with approximately 100 hours of light output from its 4 blue LEDs emitting a double pulse flash. Similar in design to other ‘branded’ safety lights yet nearly 50% cheaper than many other retailers, we have priced this unit so as to be affordable and replaceable in the event of damage. The magnetic and suction cup fixings allow this LED to be used as a highly effective emergency beacon on vehicle panels or windows. With a choice of coloured LED’s different requirements can be met, for example paramedics attending an incident would use the green LED, motorists would use the amber LED in the event of a breakdown or vehicle electrical failure, whilst police and fire services would use the blue variant when attending an incident.
Mobile Backup These lights although not intended to replace traditional beacons do prove very useful as an auxiliary backup light. Vehicle hazard warning lights use 12 volts of power each and the draw a rotating beacon can have on a car battery could in fact drain it within an hour if the engine is not left on. The KB02 will operate for more than 24 hours on just 2 AA batteries and so can be particularly useful as a backup to your normal emergency vehicle light systems. Pair this with our high output rechargeable batteries and fast battery charger and you have an extremely economical safety light that should give many years of service. |
