Police patrol vehicles carry a profusion of kit much of which is heavy and bulky. Traditional police warning beacons can weigh several kilos each because of the heavy duty batteries they tend to use. Limited vehicle space and reasons of economy and vehicle performance restrict the number of lights a police vehicle can carry and traditional police beacons have limited operational applications. The KB60 Traffic wand can be deployed as a stand alone warning beacon and can also be hand held to control traffic flow and enforce police check points. Although a new concept the baton is already gaining popularity with several police forces throughout the UK and notably has been put to good use with Customs and Excise officers and harbour and port authorities who use them for enforcing vehicle check points. We have packaged 4 blue and red police traffic batons along with 4 tripods in a case which in total weighs less than 2kgs! The batons will provide over 12 hours light output each (dependent on battery quality) and they can be seen at up to 400m during the hours of darkness. The KB66 is a sealed traffic wand offering superior performance in adverse weather conditions and is made of tough polycarbonate which makes it resistant to shock and damage ideal for use as a police torch. Ideal for police check points, traffic management, police road blocks, traffic diversions and road traffic collisions the 360 degree output provides police personnel with their own strobe effect warning beacon visible at over 300 meters in the hours of darkness - a truly valuable piece of duty equipment for additional police safety with an effective torch feature too.
