The Knight Light Pod comes as a case of 6 emergency services road markers or individually with optional charger and can be deployed quickly at the scene of an incident to provide a demarcation line or indicate an incident. Each unit has 16 bright blue LED’s which can provide up to 360 degrees of warning light, however with 9 settings you can control the flashing sequence and indeed the power consumption to suit the conditions of deployment. Particularly useful on bends or narrow roads these powerful LED road flares offer a cost effective alternative to more conventional police beacons which can be an obstacle in their own right requiring bulky supporting structures such as traffic cones or police signs. They are sealed and maintenance free with no moving parts, being robust they will resist extreme handling unlike traditional police beacons and can even survive been run over by vehicles. Weather and chemical resistant, lightweight and compact they are easy to store in any police or emergency services vehicle where space is at a premium. They are small enough to store in police motorcycle panniers enhancing the capabilities of this type of police unit that often is first to arrive at an incident. They will withstand being run over by family sized cars and their low profile is less likely to damage vehicles if hit, being just 3.5cm’s high. They also cannot be knocked or blown over so will always emit light. A magnetic base allows the led road flares to be attached to metallic objects such as vehicles or crash barriers, the integral magnet being strong enough to support the light being fixed on its side or upside down and with an optional road cone attachment they can be mounted above the road surface on traffic cones. The low power requirements of the LED’s make the unit incredibly efficient, powered by a CR123 lithium rechargeable battery the light will emit a warning for up to 50 hours on its lowest setting and will recharge within 2-3 hours.
