Traffic Cone Lamp
The Knight Beacon low intensity lamp uses a built in photo cell which activates the LED during low light conditions.
The lamp itself is turned on to standby mode as soon as the operator pushes it down firmly onto a traffic cone, only illuminating when low light conditions or darkness prevails.
A single LED provides a constant low level of illumination which is highly efficient in terms of power consumption giving the light exceptional performance between battery changes.
The lamp uses a single standard 4R25 battery (not supplied) which typically provides 1000 + hours of operational running time (subject to battery quality).
With an uncomplicated design, operators can quickly replace batteries with a minimum of delay, the battery connecting points accept the battery whichever way it is presented (as long as the springs go in first!).
We have also listened to operators who say that the part most liable to suffer from wear is the battery housing, we have there made it detachable so if it does wear out it can be replaced prolonging the life of the unit still further.

Sequential Cone Lamp
The Knight Beacon Sequential traffic cone lamp uses IR technology to signal the next cone lamp in line to produce the sequential tapering effect used for traffic management.
A single 1W LED provides illumination, with a flash rate of 60 per minute at 30CD Brightness (L7Class) and a steady on mode between flashes of 2CD (L3 Class)
The sequential traffic cone lamp uses a single standard 4R25 battery (not supplied) which typically provides 1000 hours of operational running time (subject to battery quality).
The road lamps can be positioned from between 2 to 15 metres apart, with no master or slave they can be deployed in any order and will immediately begin to identify the next road lamp in line once activated. Activating the cone lamps is automatic once they are pushed down upon a traffic cone, the pushing action engages the power button in the centre of the road lamp, lifting the lamp releases the switch.
Within 15-20 seconds of deployment the sequential road lamps should have established connections with their nearest counterpart and a sequential light pattern will commence, from a vehicle perspective the nearest cone lamp to them will operate with a yellow flash followed by the next in sequence and so on.
Each lamp has an indicator light on the rear of the casing that flashes when a signal is being received from the cone lamp in front, this visual indicator helps quickly identify lamps that are wrongly positioned, obstructed or inoperable.

Traffic Marshalling
We supply a wide range of traffic marshalling wands which are available directly from stock with different colour options and features.
There are four basic models of wand available in a variety of colours and colour combinations
The KB27 uses 3 x AA batteries, it is a compact wand just under 27cm long having a handle of just over 10 cms and light sleeve of slightly longer than16 cm.
They have a magnetic base, belt clip and wrist lanyard and are operated via a single power button which cycle through the wands different operating modes. With a minimum of 18 high output LED’s they are highly visible and leaders in their class, most competing wands use far fewer LED’s with a lower level of light output.
The magnetic base is strong enough to support the marshalling wands from metallic surfaces. An optional tripod allows them to be deployed as a stand alone visual warning indicator on any surface, they are exceptional versatile and offer a highly compact alternative to bulkier signalling devices such as traffic cones.
The KB37 uses 3 x AA batteries and is 37cm long having a handle of just over 10cm and light sleeve of 26cm.
It has a magnetic base, belt clip and wrist lanyard and is operated via a single power button which cycle the wands through their operating modes. This is similar to the KB27 having the same number of high intensity LEDs but in an extended light tube, the long distance observer can receive better directional instructions the longer the traffic wand.
An optional tripod allows the wand to be deployed as a standalone warning indicator with applications as wide reaching as identifying way points, hazardous areas, cordons, workers present etc.
KB26RG-CSW uses 3 x AAA batteries, more compact but just as bright as our KB27 and KB37 series, this unit was designed in collaboration with a major construction company who required a pressure sensitive banks man light that would switch from green to red if the button was released. With this feature if an operator trips or drops the unit the light reverts back to red providing a stop signal to the observer.
With a green flash and red flash function operated via a single power button this wand first flashes red, until the button is pressed and held which flashes green, on release it reverts back to flashing red and when pressed again turns off.
It has a magnetic base allowing it to be deployed as a standalone red wand and comes with a belt clip. Being the smallest of our wands it is highly portable and relatively robust thanks to its compact design.
Using the Klickfast carrying system the banksman wand can be secured to PPE such as hi-vis jackets or equipment belts, this helps keep the traffic baton out of harms way preventing drops etc, and helps make them easily accessible. KB37AV – uses 2 x C batteries, a rugged red only high visibility traffic wand manufactured using day glow, high visibility materials. This was designed for more challenging environments where both day and night time signalling is a requirement. It has applications in the civilian and military sectors and is particularly suited to aviation.
The unit has a single 1W LED in the handle that illuminates the sleeve with a softer glow than other models which is ideal for night time operations where the observer needs to retain good night vision. Reducing the amount of circuitry has the added advantage of helping improve ruggedness as there’s less that can be damaged, but the wand has been built to withstand rough handling and will typically withstand a 1.5m fall onto a hard surface without issue.
